my happiness is usually hinged on the emotions i cannot control. it can shift and rise without provocation. but lately it's been lasting. every day.
it's incredible what happens when you meet someone new. the impact they can have on your life in a short time. the feelings that can arise. the moments you share.
now i live by my morals and promises. the beliefs that make me who i am. the ones that let me sleep at night. that make me look at myself in a good light. i'm trying hard to be the good guy i've always claimed to be. that's my goal.
i always want my daughter to look at me with admiration and pride in her eyes. my goal is to live my life by her. no matter what. she comes first. and i love that she does.
